The installer
One installer, by a personal link
- New users
- the trial form: the key and the download link arrive by e-mail
- Customers
- the licence portal, or the link in the e-mail with your licence key
- Version and SHA-256
- in the e-mail with the link and in the portal, beside the file
- Updates
- install over the current version and keep the documents and the licence
Requirements
What the computer needs
- Workstation
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit; administrator rights for the installation
- Plant server
- the same installer with one tick: a PC in the plant network runs the program as a service
- Workstations of a plant server
- a current browser on any computer: Windows, macOS, Linux, tablet
- Linux (Docker)
- on request
- Internet
- for the licence check; a plant server without internet runs on a signed licence file
First start
If Windows asks before the first start
Windows SmartScreen shows a blue window for programs it sees for the first time. Two clicks start the installation

Click More info
In the window Windows protected your PC, click the link More info under the text

Click Run anyway
The window shows the file name and the button Run anyway. The installation starts

Compare the checksum
To check that the file is the one we published, run in PowerShell:
Get-FileHash .\PalletDesigner-Setup-*.exe. The result must equal the SHA-256 in the e-mail or in the portal
